The Designhounds had a busy start to the summer with our friends at Signature Kitchen Suite with a double header of tours to New York City and France. Signature Kitchen Suite rolled out the red carpet for the ‘Hounds’ in NYC with three days of unforgettable culinary experiences, cooking and brand immersion and the True to Food philosophy. Interwoven in the program was of course design inspiration with visits to Roman and Williams Guild, beautifully appointed restaurants and ICFF, the International Contemporary Furniture Fair.
To wrap things up, the NYC team got to shine and share their creativity as part of the Signature Kitchen Suite Dream Kitchen Contest, creating their very own dream kitchen renderings and mood boards using SKS appliances with inspiration and brands drawn from ICFF and the NYC True to Food Tour. The sky was the limit! It’s one thing to see designers being inspired during our tours, it’s another to see their expertise, creativity and attention to detail in their drawings, renderings and designs. Out of all the stunning submissions SKS selected two finalists and one grand prize winner. Check out the finalists and submissions below and give them some love!

WINNER
Andrea Harvey | ASH Interiors and Design
Designhound Andrea Harvey took the gold with her Paris-inspired kitchen design.
“My design board was inspired by my love of Paris, luxury products and feminine spaces. We created a pretty in pink palette after falling in love with this wallpaper by a London designer. We chose the beautiful and romantic pale pink paint from Farrow and Ball for our base cabinets. SKS Appliances complete this beautiful and functional kitchen.”

FINALIST
Megan Daughtry | Proud House Studio
“Signature Kitchen Suites invited the Design Hounds to New York to participate in the True to Food Tour. We were treated to a gorgeous experience involving food and design, my 2 favorite subjects. Our tour included education on rooftop urban farming, product knowledge training at the LG/SKS headquarters, Design discovery at the ICFF design conference, and fine dining in several of New York’s top restaurants. My design eye and palette were inspired and delighted, so I present here my next Dream Kitchen featuringSKS appliances, ICFF materials, and other concepts from my Design Hounds New York adventure.”
