KBIS 2023 will once again be co-located with IBS, The International Builder’s Show! The show will take place in tandem with The National Hardware Show, The Surfaces Show, and with Las Vegas Winter Market. We expect to join well over 100,000 attendees in the days from January 31 to February 2.

Elizabeth Scruggs
Elizabeth is the general contractor and principal designer of her firm, Superior Construction and Design. Founded in 2000, her company is the mid-state area’s only all-female general contracting and interior design team. SC&D provides complete home project management for busy working professionals with their 15-step process in new construction, remodeling, and interior design.
Elizabeth is a member of Designhounds, participated in the High Point Market Bloggers Tour, and was selected as a 2020 Top Innovator for Kitchen and Bath Design News. She has been a speaker at High Point Market and KBIS and is on the Board of Directors for the Bienenstock Furniture Library and the Interior Design Society. Elizabeth lives outside of Nashville with her husband and three children.
Nancy Lupo
I am the FULL NANCY. I always have been and always will be. Design brings me so much joy that I sometimes can’t help myself with bold statements and exclamations!
I love to make people laugh and have spoken on stage a few times over the years. When I can bring Joy and design together… That is a great day! I bring clients right into my fold as we embark on their home journey. They truly become part of my design family. I boldly proclaim their spaces and tailor design them. I don’t quite know how to articulate this—but I can FEEL when the design is right. The right style, the right look, the right pieces.
My life’s work lies in my husband and three sons. I am an active member of my church family and love to travel and dream of faraway places. I am passionate and bold and full of love for so many things. I am a lifelong resident of Long Island and New York!
Emily Clark
Emily is the co-owner, Principal Interior Designer, and Creative Director for Clark & Co. Homes, a Design/Build firm in Boise, Idaho. Creating all their own plans in-house, Emily specializes in bringing old-home craftsmanship and character into newly constructed homes.
Skilled in efficiently beautiful floor plan development, highly functional kitchen and bath design, creative brand management, and custom building process integration, Emily is a self-taught interior design professional and passionate creator with a strong background in the arts. Professional achievements include designer’s choice winner of the Thermador Kitchen Design Challenge and multi-platinum winner of the Best in American Living Award for new construction.
She has been featured in House Beautiful, The New York Times, Modern Farmhouse Home and Living, Business of Home, and Kitchen & Bath Design News. Emily and her husband Dan co-own Clark & Co. Homes and they are the proud parents of five children.
Allison Fannin
Allison Fannin, owner and designer at Two Thirty-Five Designs, resides in Lubbock, Texas. Starting in 2011, she began with remodeling and painting residential and commercial properties. The business quickly grew and expanded into new residential and commercial construction projects. Now, she and her team design, furnish, project manage all jobs and handle all social media accounts.
They complete over 100 residential and commercial projects a year out of their design/to the trade center in downtown Lubbock.
Swati Goorha
Swati Goorha is the Principal of her namesake firm, Swati Goorha Designs. She is an internationally recognized designer known for world-inspired, layered spaces saturated in color and patterns. Swati is a multilingual, avid global traveler. Her exposure to different cultures lends her design innovativeness, best-of-breed quality, and unique perspective.
She holds an MS in Interior Architecture and Design. Swati’s designs are a sum of her client’s experiences informed by the architecture of their home. Each client is unique, and each design caters to the lifestyle of the person who inhabits the space. This is the principal guiding philosophy behind Swati’s designs.
Swati has designed residences and commercial spaces all over the country. A House Beautiful Advisory Board Member, Swati has been featured in significant publications nationally and internationally, like House Beautiful, Elle Décor, Martha Stewart, HGTV, Vogue India, Business of Home, and Economic Times.
Swati is also involved with several nonprofit organizations to give back to the community. She continues to support several other charities and not-for-profit organizations supporting Women and children.
Judith Taylor
Judith’s fascination for decorating and design is matched only by her yearning for travel, a compulsion for cooking, and a love of music. Childhood provided a rich training ground where she was surrounded by fine art and beautiful furniture and nurtured her eye for design.
Her Tokyo-born grandmother taught early lessons about aesthetics and the fine art of creating a home. Yet, she is the granddaughter of a once-prominent multi-generational furniture manufacturer in North America, and as such, she is passionate about the tradition of quality fine furniture.
Classic details and refined clean lines anchor her love of the mix of contemporary, traditional, and global influences. Mixing patterns, unexpected combinations, dressmaker details, and often vibrant colors distinguish her style. She enjoys traveling the globe and always looks forward to spending time closer to home at their summer place on Cape Cod.
Malka Helft
Malka Helft is the founder of Think Chic Interiors LLC, a full-service interior design firm based in Westchester, NY offering a broad range of design expertise ranging from full homes. In 2014, after a long career in the fashion industry, she carried over her deep love for scale, pattern, fabrics, and colors to her current role. Malka Helft’s philosophy is rooted in creating high-end, cohesive, and well-designed, spaces that do not compromise functionality and durability. She interprets each client’s vision and lifestyle and customizes beautiful spaces that reflect the people within.
Helft’s design focuses on all the elements that make a space, from furniture, lighting, cabinetry, and stone to unique and innovative materials that are often placed in unpredictable ways.
Crystal Hackl
Crystal Hackl is the owner and principal designer of Inspired Haven Design, a San Francisco Bay Area-based full-service interior design firm with a focus on residential remodeling.
As a working mom and small business owner, Crystal is passionate about reimagining and transforming spaces for busy executive moms and their families. In her signature California-casual style, she creates spaces that are as comfortable and family-friendly as they are beautiful and functional.
Crystal is a member of the inaugural class of the NKBA’s W2W women’s leadership conference and has served as an instructor for the eDesign Association. She is a Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer (CKBD), holds the NKBA specialty badges for Lighting, Remodeling, Cabinetry, and Floor Plans & Specifications, and is a Certified True Colour Expert. In addition to transforming homes, Crystal enjoys traveling, trendspotting, and blogging about all things design.
Vanessa Helmick
Vanessa Helmick is the owner of Fiore Home, a showroom in Yarmouth, Maine, and the design firm Fiore Interiors. She is inspired by the natural beauty of her native California and current home in coastal Maine.
She has practiced residential interior design for 17 years, honing her signature organic modern style on both coasts. Her work is most recently published in the Boston Globe, Interiors Boston, Maine Home + Design, and Down East magazine.
Kylie Ponton
Kylie Ponton is the founder and Principal Designer for Ponton Interiors in Tampa, FL. As an NCIDQ-licensed interior designer, Kylie enjoys working across several architectural styles and aesthetics, with projects throughout Florida, Connecticut, Kentucky, and Mexico.
Her favorite spaces to create are luxurious coastal havens and intriguing, boutique spaces, using her unique creative vision and attention to detail. Kylie finds inspiration in traveling and exploring the outdoors. She is passionate about all the tiniest details in design and construction and believes in creating an exceptional story for her clients. When not designing, you can find her out adventuring with her family or at live music venues.
Kylie also loves giving back to the community through her work as President of Savvy Giving By Design, Tampa. Working with children facing medical crises, such as cancer or other life-threatening illnesses, Kylie and her team create magical room makeovers filled with whimsy, using design to create bright and healing spaces.
Alisa Berry
Alisa Berry, queen of all things colorful, has been a Mississippi Designer for nearly 28 years. She specializes in infusing practical, casual living with color and character. I work with clients on projects ranging from remodels to new construction which is my passion. Who doesn’t want to get in on the ground floor?!
My goal for my design projects is never perfection, it is simply bringing joy into the process of design while coaching clients to make decisions that will bring joy into their lives. There are no boring rooms in my designs and no trends. There are only creatively crafted ideas to take each project to that castle of casual status.
Alisa affectionately refers to her spouse, Ronnie, as “The Berry” on social media when she shares stories of their often hilarious adventures. They enjoy traveling with their family or just the two of them. Perhaps their greatest joy comes from the families that their three sons created, aka, “the grands” of which there are five.
Alison Otterbein
Alison is not your Mama’s Interior Designer. After working in Philadelphia for almost 15 years at a high-end residential firm, she started On Delancey Place in Raleigh, NC with a focus on kitchen and bath renovations. On Delancey Place has a signature style of individuality that honors the home and embodies those living in it.
Her goal with every project is to make a contractor love working with her through well-detailed drawings and to help guide clients through the daunting renovation process.
Nancy Mikulich
Nancy Mikulich is the lead designer and principal of OASIS HOME DESIGNS. This award-winning interior designer has been making spaces beautiful throughout NJ and NY for nearly 20 years. From the design studio and curated design boutique located in downtown Asbury Park, residential interiors are designed and curated.
She pays special attention to renovations, new construction, and downsize designs wherein heirlooms are integrated into the modern redesign of a space. Projects designed by Oasis Home range from full-service residential design and furnishings to commercial projects.
OASIS has been featured in Design NJ, HGTV Portfolios, Elle Décor, Enlightenment Magazine, and several designer show houses, including Mansion in May and Stately Homes by the Sea. Megan Siason
m studio interior design’s Megan Siason is a Filipino-American designer with a knack for making laid-back living look good in Southern California and beyond. With a personality and smile bigger than her 4’-11” stance, this globe-trotting seeker of design inspo is an NKBA National Award winner and 30 Under 30 Alumni.
When she’s not giving homes contemporary flair, she’s getting her downward dog on or planning the next travel adventure.
Tiffany Cassidy
A native of California with both a degree in chemistry and a highly creative side, Tiffany has been designing beautiful homes and commercial spaces in the U.S. Virgin Islands for her long list of clients since 2002. She marries her artistic and scientific sides together by transforming the intangible into breathtaking, cohesive, and highly functional designs delivered in systematic and organized bliss.
As the principal designer at Lagnappe, Tiffany assists clients in creating luxury personal residences. The goal is to remodel vacation homes to maximize ROI in the short-term rental market.
Jennifer Moreau
Moreau Designs Principal and Owner Jennifer Moreau operates her design studio out of Granby CT. Jennifer has 20 years of experience in the field, with 13 years at her current studio. She practices Residential and Commercial Design with an emphasis on creating full environments for her clients.
A few years back you could find her on NBC 30’s Lifestyle show: CT Live as a monthly guest, sharing tips and tricks for entertaining and home design. Now you can find her at RISD studying Architectural and Commercial Design to enhance the experience for her clients.
Paula Kennedy
Paula’s industry experience of nearly 25 years and her boutique firm, Timeless Kitchen Design L.L.C., is focused on a love for kitchen and bath design. NKBA Certified Master Kitchen & Bath Designer, Certified Architectural Color Consultant, Certified Living in Place Professional. Paula is an award-winning designer and serves as a K+BB Advisory Council member honored as an NKBA Lifetime Ambassador. She is recognized as an NKBA Subject Matter Expert.
She contributes to the industry by speaking, teaching, curriculum creation, mentoring, and writing, most recently embracing topics of creativity, innovation, technology, wellness, and inclusive design. Inspiring others feeds her passion for design, mentorship, and teaching.
Donna Mancini
Donna Mancini, a business owner and designer, has over 30 years of combined experience in interior design, real estate, business and accounting, and retail sales management. She thrives in a fast-paced environment that allows her to focus on organization, adaptability, creativity, and problem-solving, and she values her client, employee, and contractor relationships tremendously.
“Despite my love for design early on, I pursued a degree in accounting which gave me the foundation I so rely on today. With my years of varied, but relevant work experience, I set out to start my own business in 2010. My desire to take my business to the next level came to fruition with the addition of a brick-and-mortar retail design showroom in 2015. With the addition of a sister construction company in 2019, we’re now able to provide our clients with an exceptional turnkey experience from concept through completion.”
Donna and her family moved to beautiful St. Augustine 15 years ago, and she instinctively knew that it
offered the perfect opportunity to build a business doing what she loves!
Sarah Robertson
As principal and “solopreneur” of Studio Dearborn, Sarah Robertson has made the mastery of kitchen function an integral part of her design success. With back-to-back National Kitchen & Bath wins in 2019 and 2020 for Best Overall Kitchen Design, Sarah has emerged as a highly sought-after source for kitchen design expertise. She has grown a global following for tailored, elegant spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful.
Sarah credits her years as a management consultant for her systematic and thorough approach to the design process. After an MBA from Kellogg and a stint with McKinsey, she left the corporate world to pursue her true passion in renovating and building homes. In 2009 she pivoted into a kitchen design project for a friend–and never looked back.
On top of her busy design schedule, Robertson stays active within the design industry through her social media presence. She also judges industry events such as the 2020 KBIS Best of Show competition. She is also a Brand Ambassador for Docking Drawer and California Faucets and is on the Board of Renovation Angel.
Lisa Peck
Lisa is an award-winning, luxury interior designer known as the “go-to” expert and client advocate in Minneapolis for discerning families and professionals. You know how Bobby Fischer was a chess phenom at age 13? That kind of describes Lisa. Not the chess phenom part so much as exhibiting a natural talent for something at a young age.
When most kids struggled to match their socks, Lisa played a matching game with her mother that developed her remarkable memory for color. And when most kids griped about cleaning their bedrooms, Lisa used it as an excuse to redecorate. An interior design career was calling. For 30+ years she has designed intimate, personality-driven, intentional interiors that have been featured by HGTV, Dwell, Midwest Home & Design, and Mpls/St. Paul Home.
Lisa understands how living life to its fullest can be accomplished by making intentional decisions along the way. Aligning what we value with what we experience is for everyone, every day. It’s how we can live a life we love.
Jessica Duce
In business for almost 20 years, interior designer Jessica Duce brings her creativity and expertise to both residential and commercial projects. With Houston as a home base, she works with clients across the country which she says affords a unique perspective on regional design trends and needs.
The principal designer at both JDuce Design and Vacation Rental Designers, she saw the latter as a much-needed niche service bringing value to short-term rental property homeowners who require a unique mix of budget and modern style. Together with business partner and real estate consultant Julia Harmon, they are creating new opportunities for designers and owners.
As an accomplished speaker and presenter, Jessica has appeared on numerous panels and podcasts. She has been featured in community lifestyle publications as well as trade magazines including Business of Home, Furniture Today, Designers Today, and KBIS magazine. Most recently, she announced her role as key strategist in the inaugural Vacation Rental Design Summit to be held in conjunction with High Point Market in April 2023.
Jessica is the incoming President for IDS Houston as well as National IDS membership. Additionally, Jessica is proud of her ongoing relationship with Modenus and its Design Hounds Influencer program.
