A smarter way to experience the world’s most important design events
If you’ve ever walked into a major design fair feeling excited, inspired… and immediately overwhelmed, you’re not alone.
Between massive show floors, endless exhibitor lists, packed schedules, and sponsored “must-sees,” it’s hard to know where to focus — or how to experience these events in a way that actually feels meaningful and productive. Add to that the off-site experience with private dinners, cocktail parties or just plain downtime where you’re tasked with navigating a forest of near-convention-center venues or perhaps would perhaps want to venture further afield and find great restaurants, shops, galleries and everything that makes your designer heart sing and add value to the travel investment you’ve just made.
That’s exactly why we created the Designhounds Guides Collection.
What are the Designhounds Guides?
The Guides are interactive, industry-expert–driven digital companions designed to help designers, architects, and design lovers navigate major global design events with more clarity, context, and confidence.
The first guide in the collection — the Designhounds Guide to KBIS 2026 — is officially live, and we’ll be rolling out additional editions for Salone del Mobile / Eurocucina 2026 and NYC Design Week 2026 in the coming weeks.
Rather than static previews or endless exhibitor directories, the Guides are built around real experience: how designers actually move through these events, what’s worth prioritizing, and how to balance inspiration with efficiency.
As Designhounds founder Veronika Miller puts it:
“Design events are overwhelming by nature, and most official tools are built around logistics or sponsored placements, not real insider experiences. The Designhounds Guides are about helping design pros and design lovers understand what matters, where to focus, and how to move through these events with intention, before, during, and after the show.”
What you’ll find inside the Guides
Each Designhounds Guide includes:
An at-a-glance event calendar
Curated, themed DesignTrails focused on areas like Sustainability, Technology, Wellness, Luxury, and other key topics
Insider recommendations for restaurants, hotels, things to do, and real-world tips from seasoned pros
Curated editorial highlights of brands, exhibitors, and installations worth your time
Continuous updates, plus save and share features for real-time planning
Mobile-friendly layouts designed to be used on the ground, not just at your desk
All Guides live in a growing Designhounds library, with new editions released annually and tailored to the unique scale, culture, and rhythm of each event — giving you both a global perspective and a local lens.
